Terms & conditions
- Due to the volatile nature of material prices, our quotation is valid for 7 days from receipts. After this period, any increases from suppliers will be added at cost.
- A 50% deposit will be required upon receipt of order. Staged payments to be agreed at this time with final payment upon completion of works.
- No work will commence until we receive written confirmation.
- Client agrees that it shall not be entitled to withhold payment by reason of retention, unless agreed at tender stage and prior to placement of order.
- Main contractor to supply a safe working area/welfare facilities
- For quoting purposes, all structural steelwork will be assumed to be Execution Class 2, (based upon historical projects, where no Execution class has been specified).
- Weld type and specification to be provided/agreed by the applicable engineer 2 weeks prior to fabrication.
- Design specification of all structural members by others
- Steelwork remains the property of Essex Mobile Welding Ltd until final payment.

Our team consists of three highly skilled welders and three experienced steel erectors who have collectively amassed over 100 years of experience in the fabrication and construction industry. They have worked on numerous projects, not just for Essex Mobile Welding, but also for other companies, to gain more knowledge and expertise. As a result, we can offer you a high-quality standard of service that meets your expectations.
Essex Mobile Welding has been in business for 50 years, and we have come a long way since our humble beginnings when we had only one welder, Keith Ashcroft, and a small transit van.
